Laurens Rademakers of the Biochar Fund would like to share a new video on the Biochar Fund's Congo Project. Rademakers said:
"This project is financed by the Congo Basin Forest Fund (CBFF), and aims to slow down slash-and-burn farming. Two hundred farmers will put 10 tons of biochar in their fields. In phase 2 there is a stove component (to be implemented this semester). The project is considered to be the "pearl" in the CBFF's portfolio. The short film has been shown to the Prime Ministers of the UK and Norway, as well as to the World Bank and the African Development Bank's annual meetings."
