The University of Guyana, Faculty of Natural Sciences Department of Chemistry & Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry Department of Chemistry is located at Georgetown Guyana. The team of six is a small University research group which has just started to focus on the utilisation of Biochar. Apart from utilisation for carbon sequestration, the main focus is the agricultural and mining sectors (land restoration).
